We have been in Kansas City since Tuesday night and are loving it. We went and saw Jesse James homestead and museum today. It was so much fun to actually get to go into the house that he grew up in. The kids just soaked everything up. We are getting to spend time with Doug and Lori and their boys, K'mron and Josef. They were totally in awe with everything that we did out there. It's fun to watch our kiddos love things that are historical. It does make it so much more fun when you can go and visit the places that things happened. It really just makes the history books come to life.
I'm a bit bummed tonight because John had to go home so that he could work tomorrow. Jan, the lady that works with him, had a death in her family and so he told her that since she was going to be the only one in the office on Friday that he would come back and hold down the fort. I really just can't wait for him to be back up here. I really don't like it when we are apart.
I guess our early bed time has come and gone. I suppose maybe I should get my kiddos settled down and in bed. Good night.
